The Reds were looking on course for at least a point, dominating in good portions until the 69th minute when James O'Conner got a close range goal to put the Rams on course for their first victory in eight.

Barnsley looked to be continuing the good run of results they have enjoyed against Derby in recent years, with some stunning attacking football being displayed in recent performances at Pride Park, but it turned out in favour of the home side this time as Tyson put paid to any Barnsley chances when he fired in Derbys second at the death from 20 yards out.

The result takes Derby up to ninth, but firmly plants Barnsley at the wrong end of the table. Its a results driven business and a loss against Huddersfield at Oakwell, may stretch any loyalty to Keith Hill. As he keeps saying he's doing all this on a tight budget... so have all of your predecessors Keith!

The Tykes are having problems in the last third particularly since in form striker Craig Davies was sidelined through injury. We have just 15 goals from 15 games to show for out attacking prowess.. 5 of those coming at Birmingham!

Harewood looks to be beyond any kind of prolific form at this stage of his career, Dagnall works very hard but has so far turned that hard work into bulges in the onion sack. We have been lured into a false sense of security this season with the good performances and the possession football, but the be all and end all is the results and simply... the round object hitting the back of the net, which it isn't doing enough.

Whilst holding out well away at Derby we produced little ourselves to test at the other end, with ex Ram Tomasz Cywka testing the keeper who turned his effort over the bar, and Chris Dagnall having an effort blocked by Legzdins.

With Luke Steele back in goal for the Reds again, he wasn't tested a great deal himself as the Rams finishing wasn't brilliant, but they did end up with two goals more than us!

The home side had a penalty appeal waved away but just over 10 minutes later they were in front as O'Conner got on the end of Richard Keogh header to put the Rams in the lead, then sub Nathan Tyson fired in a spectacular 20 yarder to seal it in the final minute.
