Ricardo Vas Te signs on transfer deadline for West Ham United.

< >

No sooner had Vas Te racked up ten goals for Barnsley in nearly as many matches and he came on the radar for clubs wanting to add to attacking power prior to the January transfer window closing.

Former manager Sam Allardyce brought him into English football at Bolton, he has now renewed that link with Ricardo Vas Te going to West Ham United for an undisclosed figure thought to be £1m plus.

It is a tad frustrating for Reds fans who think we will only gain a play off place if we keep our top performers, but on the other hand Vas Te is out of contract at the end of the season which could lead to him leaving the club free of charge. So should be seen as money in the war chest for Keith Hill, who has already added several names to the squad in the last week.
